Alzheimer's & Dementia Services List
ALZHEIMER’S and DEMENTIA SERVICES
The National Alzheimer’s Association reports that 1 in 10 persons over
65, and nearly half of those over 85, are affected. In Cayuga County,
it is currently estimated that there are approximately 1,800
individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. The incidence of disease in
Cayuga County will increase not only due to increase in the numbers of
older people, but also because more people are living into their 90’s
and 100’s. By 2015, there will be 2,325 individuals with Alzheimer’s
